About
I’m a freelance arts journalist and editor living in London, and a contributing editor at the Arts Society Magazine. I was previously senior editor at Apollo magazine, and before that, deputy editor at Crafts, a biannual magazine published by the Crafts Council.

My writing has appeared in ArtReview, Apollo, The Arts Society Magazine, Ceramic Review, Dazed, frieze, Hyperallergic, The Observer Magazine, The Guardian, The Financial Times, the TLS, Vice and World of Interiors, among others.

In 2022, I published my first book, Lucie Rie, an introductory overview of the potter’s life and work. The book is the ninth in the Modern Women Artists series by Eiderdown Books. My next book will be published in 2027.
I work as an editor and copy-editor on a variety of projects – most recently, the exhibition catalogue for Relative Ties: Mabel Nicholson, Nancy Nicholson, EQ Nicholson and Louisa Creed at the Women's Art Collection.
In early 2026, I co-curated Crossings: Hans Coper, Sam Herman, Lucie Rie & Eduardo Paolozzi (11 February–21 March) for Frestonian Gallery. I also chair panel discussions and give talks. Past clients include the Hepworth Wakefield, the Hayward Gallery, Kettle’s Yard, Collect art fair, Masterpiece London, Maximillian William Gallery and Canopy Collections.
